Dizzee Rascal killed it at the dripping sweat, stinky, hot, Emo’s in Austin last night. The crowd was small, pretty young, and broke more glass bottles than I’ve ever seen get broken in a night. Dizzee came out with the bangers but, and I’m still shocked, Bun B came through. He rapped one verse and then posted up, mouthed a hook here and there, but pretty much just showed off his ALIFE Bun B gear.

Every so often I’d look left and see Bun nodding his head, looking approvingly at the young MC and I was happy to be there.

The chant of UGK for life united all the sweaters in Emo’s.
