Recognize the dark side. If you don’t want to be engulfed by something you must face it and be open to it. When you run without knowing what you’re running from you set up a prison. Don’t run.
Recognize the bright side of life. More is not always the answer; taking care of yourself, and enjoying the pleasures afforded to man don’t take much. “A good mix tape will put you in the right mood.” Is it going to be Roy Ayers those heart felt Ghostface songs, John Denver? That’s up to you.
It all meshes somewhere.
If the perturbation of the best is the worst then is the downfall of an okay guy not that bad?
My family has given me strong roots. The older I get the more I realize that I don’t care about someone’s economic status, their race, sex, the kind of shoes they wear. I care about what they hold close to their hearts. What matters to a person comes out in no time. People are pretty easy to read but too often we skim.
Be strong. Don’t make other’s your crutch. We’re all flawed to no end, get to know these flaws in yourself, in others, and if you can’t accept them, ask someone for help.
