I had to be a politician tonight and apologize to the bouncer at a club. I did something about a month ago that jeopardized his job and it made me realize that everything we do matters, it’s out there and it can come back to help or haunt us-our choice. We needed to talk.

I also talked to a woman today about working on a project with her. These kids above who I worked with nine years ago came back to me today, not to haunt me. I spent a summer working with kids with learning disabilities, something applicable to this project.

One kid David, who taught me to play Uno, was pretty awesome. He’d be so nice one minute and the next he’d get all focused on one thing, his top teeth and bottom teeth would touch and not separate, his chin would be at his chest and he’d yell at you like you were in trouble. He was beating me in Uno one day and kind of laughing at me and his teeth went together, chin went down, but instead of getting angry, he looked at me and said, “To be, or not to be…that is the question.”
