No better time to shop than 5 a.m. And it’s the best when the salesman comes to you. A couple years ago, and I wouldn’t fall for this now, but I called a friend for a place to eat on the Upper East Side. I was with a few people, we were hungry and I figured I’d ask someone who lived in the neighborhood. After telling him I wanted a place that wasn’t expensive he tells me that he has the perfect spot, Nello’s. What a jerk. We get there and soup is $20.00. We stay just because and I thought it was so cool that this salesman had brought a bunch of saddles to a woman so she could shop while she lunched. I don’t have a horse but if I did I couldn’t think of a better way to shop for a new saddle. Check out these guys below who work at a pizza place. They’re at work but this salesman brings rollerblades, fake handbags, and socks to them. I gave the guy $1 for a handbag to use for my toiletries. The workers got the guy down to two pairs of rollerblades for $6.00 but didn’t end up making the deal and I didn’t want rollerblades.
